The Sex Offender Treatment Program is designed to reduce the risk of re-offense by specifically addressing the harm to the victim of sexual abuse and teaching abusers how to control their deviant behavior through relapse prevention planning and other methods.  The group is open-ended and completion depends upon the individual’s progress rather than any set time.  Psychosexual assessments and the results of polygraph examinations are used to supplement the information known about offenders and to measure progress in treatment.  All services (group facilitation, psychosexual assessments and polygraphs) are provided by Corrections employees.
